Renfro Vibes
Terms of service
Draft for a lawyer’s read. Last updated October 5, 2026.
These terms are the agreement between you and Christian Renfro, who makes and runs Renfro Vibes: renfrovibes.com and the apps on it. By making an account or using the apps, you agree to them. If something here is unclear, write to support@renfrovibes.com.
What works today and what is coming
Renfro Vibes is a small set of apps made by one person, and some of them are early. These terms cover what is built and what is coming, so you know the rules before something new opens. Each section says which it is.
- Today: one account across the apps, sign-in by an emailed code or link (and passkeys on renfrovibes.com), D&D Companion, the Day Planner, Paws in Peril, your own AI keys and your own computer.
- Coming: Children’s Books, credits and payments, printed books, people watching over people, and the Workout Coach on your Renfro Vibes account. Today the Workout Coach runs on its own site with its own sign-in.
Your account and signing in
- You need to be 18 or older to make an account.
- An account is for one person, with an email address you control. We sign you in with a code or a link we email you, or with a passkey. There is no password.
- Whoever can read your email can sign in as you, so keep your email account safe.
- You are responsible for what happens in your account. If you think someone else got in, write to us and sign out your other devices from your account page.
- Some changes ask you to confirm it’s you again with a fresh code or your passkey, such as changing an AI key or accepting an invite.
People watching over people (coming)
- You can invite someone to watch over you, or offer to watch over someone, one app at a time. The first app with this is the Workout Coach.
- An invite says in one sentence what the other person will see and do. Nothing is shared until the person whose information it is accepts, and only the email address the invite went to can accept it.
- The person whose information it is decides what is shared. A watcher can choose to see less at any time; seeing more needs that person to agree again.
- Either of you can end it at any time from People. Sharing stops at once. What you already exchanged, like messages, stays in each of your histories.
- A watcher never sees your AI keys, your computer, your sign-ins, your billing, your credits, your security activity or your exports. You can see each time a watcher looks at your information.
- Invite only people who know you, and use what you see only to help the person who shared it.
Health information in the Workout Coach
- The Workout Coach keeps health information: your plan and targets, your weight, your meals, your check-ins and your chats with the coach.
- When you accept a coach, the page asks you plainly, apart from these terms, whether to share that information with them. You can take that consent back at any time by ending the coach in People.
- The coach, whether a person or the AI, is not a doctor and does not give medical advice. Talk to a doctor before you change how you eat or exercise, especially if you have a health condition.
- The privacy policy says what we keep and the rights you have over it.
Children’s information in Children’s Books (coming)
- Children’s Books is for parents and guardians making books for children in their care. Children do not get accounts and should not use the app themselves.
- To make a book you may give a child’s first name, age and pictures. Add only a child you are the parent or guardian of, or whose parent has said yes.
- The privacy policy says what happens to that information and how to delete it.
Credits (coming)
- Some features cost credits. Credits pay only for things the apps make for you automatically, such as AI pictures and story pages. They do not pay for printing or for a person’s time.
- Credits you buy never expire.
- Promotional credits, the ones we give away, may expire. We tell you when they expire when we give them.
- Credits are not money. You cannot transfer, sell or cash them out.
- Credits you buy are not refundable, except where the law requires it. You agree to this when you buy them, with a checkbox on the payment page. Where you live may give you a refund: in the European Union and the United Kingdom you can cancel within 14 days for credits you have not spent, and California may require cash back for a small balance that is left. The refunds page has the details.
- If something you paid credits for fails, such as a picture that did not finish, the credits go back to your balance by themselves.
- If a payment is refunded or disputed with your bank, the credits it bought are taken back. Any you already spent are owed: the next pack you buy pays them back first, and paid pictures, and the free storyteller and Worldsmith, are paused until it does (your own computer or AI key still works).
- Prices are shown before you pay, and taxes may apply.
Printed books (coming)
- A printing partner prints and ships printed books. We share your name and shipping address with them to do that, and nothing else.
- Each book is made to order. The refunds page says what happens if one arrives damaged or misprinted.
Your own AI keys and your own computer
- You can save an API key from an AI provider (such as Anthropic, Google, fal or Higgsfield) so the apps use your account with them. Keys are stored encrypted and are never shown back to anyone, you included; we show only the last few characters. Your use is under that provider’s terms, and they bill you.
- You can run the Renfro Vibes station program on your own computer so the apps use the AI there. A paired computer answers only for your account. You can forget it at any time, and we email you whenever a computer is paired.
- You are responsible for the keys and accounts you connect. Do not connect an account whose terms forbid this use, such as a personal subscription used to answer for other people.
What you make
- What you make is yours. You let us store it, process it and show it to you and to the people you share it with, only to run the apps.
- Upload only what you have the right to use. AI output can be wrong or strange, so check it before you rely on it or share it.
Using the apps fairly
Do not use Renfro Vibes to break the law, to harm or harass anyone, to make sexual content involving anyone under 18, to get into other people’s accounts, to attack or overload the service, or to copy it or its content in bulk. We may remove content or close an account that does.
- Sign-in and security email always comes: codes, links, and notices about new sign-ins, keys, computers, passkeys and email changes. It is part of having an account.
- News comes only if you say yes, and every news email has a one-click unsubscribe. We do not send any news today.
Closing your account
- You can close your account at any time. Today you do it by writing to us from your account’s email address; a button in your account is coming.
- We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms, and we tell you why unless the law or someone’s safety stops us.
- When an account closes, the privacy policy says what we delete. Its credits end with it and are not refunded, except where the law requires it (the refunds page says when).
The service as it is
- One person runs Renfro Vibes, and apps may change, pause or stop. Before an app you use stops for good, we tell you when we can and give you a way to take your information with you.
- The apps are provided as they are, without promises that they will always work or suit a purpose, as far as the law allows.
- As far as the law allows, our responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem, or 50 US dollars if you paid nothing.
- Nothing here takes away rights the law gives you that cannot be taken away.
Changes to these terms
- Each version of these terms has a date, shown at the top. We record which version you accepted and when.
- When we change them in a way that matters, we tell you by email or on the site before the change takes effect, and ask you to accept the new version. If you do not agree, you can close your account.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE], United States. Disputes go to the courts of [STATE], unless the law where you live says otherwise.
